Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group in Lahore is seeking an NPI Manager to lead end-to-end New Product Introduction initiatives. You will drive OTIF delivery, manage project plans, and coordinate with Packaging, Quality, Factory, SCIP, and PDT to ensure on-time launches.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end PLM and NPI processes.
  • 4+ years of operational delivery experience (end markets or shared service center preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Operations experience (manufacturing or supply chain) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
  • Solid grasp of supply chain principles, core processes, and systems.
  • Flexible, independent, and proactive with strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined in documentation, and able to deliver under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver all NPI projects On-Time and In-Full (OTIF).

  • Maintain compliance with GBS frameworks, data privacy, security, and internal control requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with Process Owners and Delivery Excellence teams.

Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for an NPI Manager based in Lahore
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver all NPI projects On-Time and In-Full (OTIF), independently managing complex projects with minimal supervision.
  • Provide regular NPI updates, reports, and readiness status to ensure team alignment and effective daily direction setting.
  • Lead end-to-end NPI deployment, develop and monitor project plans, and ensure full visibility of progress to the Product Development Team (PDT).
  • Support informed decision-making by Commercial and brand partners through clear communication of project status, risks, and costs (tooling, trials/MQS, WMS write-offs).
  • Apply tools such as Z2 planning to minimise WMS write-offs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Packaging, Quality, Factory, SCIP, Product Assurance, and Regional NPI to resolve issues and ensure project success.
  • Maintain compliance with GBS frameworks, data privacy, security, and internal control requirements across all markets served.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with Process Owners and Delivery Excellence teams.
