Job summary

Pakistan Tobacco Company, part of The British American Tobacco Group, is seeking a Maintenance Officer in Akora Khattak, Pakistan. You will optimize machinery performance and lead maintenance activities to minimize downtime and losses.

The ideal candidate holds a DAE or B-tech in mechanical, with 2–3 years in production machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and coaching a mixed workforce. Strong root cause analysis, EH&S awareness, and clear communication are required, plus the ability to

Qualifications

• DAE or B-tech in mechanical.
• 2-3 years of experience in production machinery maintenance, troubleshooting and team upskilling.
• Self-motivated and able to lead a team of contractual and unionized employees.
• True root cause analysis of recurring losses and timely defect handling.
• In-depth knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety, Factory Operations skills, engineering and administrative controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective training and presentation skills for developing shop floor employees.
