Job summary

Right Stakes is hiring for multiple cloud support roles in Islamabad, offering night shifts and on-site work. You will provide Level 1 operational support for AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools, monitor systems, respond to alerts, and assist with CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in cloud support or similar, strong Linux and networking fundamentals, familiarity with AWS services, and a willingness to learn and grow toward Level 2/SRE responsibilities.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in cloud support, DevOps, system administration, or related role.
Hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, OS patching/backups). Azure/GCP a plus.
Good Linux administration and basic troubleshooting of servers, storage, and permissions.
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, load balancers.
Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/DataDog/Splunk).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
Basic Docker/containers/VMs/cloud infra concepts.
IaC/config management/scripting (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Bash, Python) preferred.
Understanding incident handling, tickets, escalation, SLAs.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, teamwork; rotating/on-call shifts.
AWS certification or cloud/DevOps cert preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 operational support for AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, and hosted applications.
Monitor infrastructure, applications, services, and deployment pipelines using monitoring/logging/alerting tools.
Respond to alerts and support tickets, perform initial troubleshooting, document findings, escalate when needed.
Review logs to identify service failures, performance issues, and recurrent errors.
Perform routine health checks, service restarts, storage monitoring, backups verification, and resource status reviews.
Assist with AWS access management and IAM permissions per procedures.
Support CI/CD pipelines and investigate failed builds/deployments.
Assist with Docker-based apps, cloud provisioning, patching, IaC tasks.
Maintain runbooks, knowledge base, dashboards, and operational reports.
Participate in incident reviews and seek automation/reliability improvements toward Level 2/SRE.
