Job summary

Pakistan Single Window is seeking a junior Network Support role in Karachi to assist in monitoring and maintaining our network infrastructure and connectivity. You will help configure and troubleshoot routers and switches under supervision, and you will develop essential network documentation and SOPs for common operations.

Strong basics in networking, IP addressing, and MS Office tools are expected, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative IT team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS / EEE / ECE / IT or related field.
Basic networking fundamentals and OSI/TCP-IP knowledge.
Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting.
Familiarity with routing (static/default) and switching concepts (MAC, VLANs).
Knowledge of ARP, ICMP, DNS and DHCP; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity.
Support configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network devices under supervision.
Prepare and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, IP planning sheets, and asset records.
Develop and update SOPs for basic network operations such as failover and link up/down procedures.
Assist with network implementation, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
Collaborate with the Network team to ensure smooth and secure network operations.
