Job summary

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is seeking a Network Support professional to assist in monitoring and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure in Karachi. The role includes helping configure routers and switches, documenting IP plans, and supporting routine maintenance under supervision.

You will develop SOPs for basic operations, participate in network upgrades, and collaborate with the Network team to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, OSI & TCP/IP models, and IP addressing & subnetting.
• Understanding of Routing (Static, Default Routes) and Switching concepts (MAC Table, VLANs, Trunking).
• Familiarity with ARP, ICMP, DNS, and DHCP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Support configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network devices under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, IP planning sheets, and asset records.
• Develop and update SOPs for basic network operations such as failover and link up/down procedures.
• Assist with network implementation, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the Network team to ensure smooth and secure network operations
