WellnessLiving is seeking a Network / IT Specialist to manage our local IT infrastructure in Islamabad. The role involves maintaining networks, servers, firewalls, switches, APs, and related hardware, while providing end-user support and ensuring security and reliability across the environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in IT or CS, hands-on experience with Windows, Office 365, Azure, and ticketing systems, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Network / IT Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows, Office 365 applications and Azure; experience with ticketing systems.

Responsabilités

• Triage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by users.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Address, update, and follow-up on tickets submitted into ticket system.
• Ensure proper deployment, maintenance and decommissioning of user workstations.
• Provide technical support setting up and installing business hardware and software for users and providing training to end-users as needed.
• Maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of the local IT infrastructure.
• Document processes, backup and archiving of data.

About You:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network / IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing computer networks and related systems to ensure their smooth operation and security. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking equipment such as servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices. The Network / IT Specialist will also p rovide technical support to end-users as needed and maintain reliability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Triage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues reportedby users.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Address, update, and follow-up on tickets submitted into ticket system.
• Ensure proper deployment, maintenance and decommissioning of user workstations.
• Provide technical support setting up and installing business hardware and software for users and providing training to end-users as needed.
• Maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of the local IT infrastructure.
• Documenting processes, as well as maintaining, backing up and archiving data.
• Monitor network performance and address issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Manage local area network and applicable hardware such as firewalls, switches, APs and other devices.
• Handle user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Ensure adherence to IT compliance policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Network / IT Specialist or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of Windows, Office 365 applications and Azure.
• Experience working with ticketing systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Experience deploying, provisioning and decommissioning hardware.
• Experience managing computers, network equipment and other IT hardware.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
