Datavault in Karachi is seeking a Network & Firewall Engineer to design, deploy, and secure its data-center networks and firewall infrastructure. You will lead security architecture, configure major firewall platforms, and ensure robust segmentation for multi-tenant environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise with firewall platforms, VPNs, and routing protocols, with preference for candidates having data-center or banking environment experience.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network and firewall engineering.
• Hands-on with one major firewall platform (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or Cisco ASA/Firepower).
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network-security best practices.
• Experience in data-center, ISP, telecom, or banking environments is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE4+, CCSA/CCSE, or CCIE desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/Telecom or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage data-center networking and perimeter security.
• Configure and maintain next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower).
• Create secure network segmentation and multi-tenant isolation for customer environments.
• Administer site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, NAT, and access-control policies.
• Set up routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VXLAN.
• Implement and monitor IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, and security logging.
• Regularly audit firewall rule sets, apply patches, and respond to security incidents.
• Maintain up-to-date network and security documentation and support audit/compliance activities.

Handling critical data and AI models for its clients, the firm needs a Network & Firewall Engineer to design, protect, and operate its networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage data‑center networking and perimeter security.
• Configure and maintain next‑generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, or similar.
• Create secure network segmentation and multi‑tenant isolation for customer environments.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools, zero‑trust design, or cloud security is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE4+, CCSA/CCSE, or CCIE are desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Telecom Engineering or a related field.
