About the role
The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Learning & Development supports the design, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of employee learning initiatives. This role provides an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands‑on experience in training administration, employee development, learning technologies, and organisational capability building while developing a strong understanding of HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying training needs through surveys, feedback, and discussions with department heads.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, orientation programmes, and webinars.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, attendance records, and learning documentation.
- Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
- Maintain training calendars, learning records, and employee development databases.
- Assist in managing Learning Management System (LMS) data and training reports, where applicable.
- Collect participant feedback and help evaluate training effectiveness.
- Prepare training reports, dashboards, and analytics for management review.
- Coordinate with internal trainers and external training vendors.
- Support employee engagement and organisational development initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure all training records comply with company policies and audit requirements.
- Stay informed about current learning trends, digital learning tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or project experience in HR or Learning & Development is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and training processes is desirable.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage.
