Job summary

Normeca International AS is operating a Mobile Multi-Diagnostic Clinic project in Pakistan, delivering essential laboratory services to communities in KPK and Sindh. We seek a skilled Laboratory Technician to conduct tests, prepare samples, and ensure safe, accurate results for rural populations.

The role requires a Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with valid certification and experience. Accommodation and meals are provided, with medical insurance for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification as a Laboratory Technician.
• Proven experience as a Laboratory Technician.
• Ability to work in non-standard rural mobile clinic settings.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis.
• Prepare and analyse samples with accuracy and precision.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment for proper functioning.
• Record and report test results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow established lab protocols and safety guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Assist in managing laboratory supplies and inventory.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
• Set up and dismantle mobile medical units at various locations.
