Job summary

Normeca International AS seeks a compassionate Family Doctor to join a mobile healthcare initiative in rural Pakistan. The role covers preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services across communities in KP, with duties including setup and teardown of mobile units and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will bring a medical degree, valid license, and proven family medicine experience, with strong communication and patient-centric care. English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a medical degree from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice as a Family Doctor
• Proven experience as a Family Doctor
• Strong knowledge of primary care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• English language is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and screening tests
• Develop and manage personalized treatment plans for patients
• Educate patients on health management and disease prevention
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices
• Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations
