Job summary

Game District is seeking a detail-oriented Game QA Engineer to perform manual testing of mobile games on Android and iOS. The role focuses on identifying bugs, validating gameplay mechanics, and ensuring stability across devices during on-site work at Lahore.

The ideal candidate will execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and compatibility tests, document issues with clear steps and evidence, and collaborate with developers to deliver a smooth gaming experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably mobile game testing.
• Hands-on manual testing of Android and/or iOS mobile games.
• Experience with functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Ability to document bugs with clear steps and evidence.
• Experience writing test cases and checklists.
• Familiarity with STLC and bug-tracking tools like Jira or Trello.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of mobile games to identify bugs and crashes.
• Test gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, progression, and in‑game features.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and compatibility tests.
• Log bugs with reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity levels.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing across devices.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and QA docs.
• Test updates, new features, and builds before release.
• Assess performance issues like crashes and frame drops.
• Provide feedback on gameplay quality and player experience.
