Job summary

9D Technologies & Hazel Mobile is seeking a 3D Artist to create game-ready assets, environments, props, and characters for mobile titles. You will adapt assets, optimize materials, lighting, and shaders to ensure top mobile performance.

Proficiency with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, and Unity is expected, with a strong eye for AI-assisted workflows and rapid prototyping across multiple art styles. Mobile game experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• 1-2 years of professional 3D art experience producing game-ready assets.
• Strong experience with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar 3D tools.
• Experience with Unity art pipelines, including materials, shaders, lighting, and asset optimization.
• Understanding of mobile game performance constraints.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted art workflows.
• Ability to work quickly across multiple art styles and prototypes.
• Prior experience in mobile games is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize game-ready 3D assets, environments, props, and characters.
• Modify and adapt existing or Asset Store assets to match game requirements.
• Handle materials, textures, lighting, shaders, VFX, and basic animation setup.
• Use AI tools for concept art, texture generation, visual references, and production acceleration.
• Maintain strong mobile performance through optimization, LODs, and efficient asset usage.
• Support developers in achieving a consistent visual direction.
• Rapidly create visual variations for prototypes and market-testing creatives.
• Build reusable art pipelines and asset libraries where possible.
