Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce SAP security policies, procedures, and standards across all SAP landscapes
- Lead the development and execution of role design strategy, aligned with Segregation of Duties (SoD) and internal control frameworks
- Oversee access governance, ensuring compliance with SAP licensing, audit requirements, and regulatory mandates
- Supervise user provisioning, role management, and authorization workflows in ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, BI, GRC, etc
- Manage resolution of SoD conflicts, audit findings, and security incidents in coordination with audit, compliance, and department heads
- Collaborate with HR and IT to ensure timely user ID lifecycle management (onboarding, transfers, terminations)
- Guide the SAP Security team in performing authorization analysis, troubleshooting, and proactive risk mitigation
- Lead security assessments and periodic reviews to identify weaknesses and drive continuous improvement
- Serve as liaison with internal/external auditors, representing SAP Security in reviews, remediation, and controls design
- Ensure documentation, change control, and security configurations are maintained per organizational standards
Education
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder, preferably in IT, Business or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of SAP security operations
- Hands-on experience in working with SAP Functional Consultants to analyze, define, and implement second-level authorizations, ensuring effective data control
- Familiarity with internal audit procedures and ability to implement recommended security controls or changes based on audit findings and business unit feedback
- High level of accuracy and diligence in managing sensitive user access and compliance data
Age
- The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
