Job summary

Contour Software in Pakistan seeks a Software Developer to join an expanding in-house team. You will work across backend services, data access, and client-facing applications, taking features from problem statement to production.

You will debug, optimize, and extend existing code, collaborate with product and infrastructure teams, and apply AI-assisted development tooling in an SOC2/ISO27001 environment. This role is based in Contour's Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad offices.

Qualifications

• Experience building apps in C# and .NET.
• Strong SQL skills with EF Core understanding.
• Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Ability to read and diagnose unfamiliar codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features end to end across backend services and the user-facing application.
• Write clean, well-structured, testable code and apply Clean Architecture principles.
• Work confidently in inherited code and extend services safely.
• Investigate defects rigorously to root cause.
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Follow secure coding practices in SOC2/ISO27001 environments.
• Build understanding of the market research and brand measurement domain.
• Apply AI tools in your workflow and development tooling.
