Job summary

Contour Software is expanding its software development team with a Junior/Intermediate Software Developer role in Lahore, Karachi or Islamabad. You will contribute across backend services and web applications, taking features from problem statements to production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with C# and .NET, strong SQL/EF Core skills, and familiarity with distributed systems. You’ll work in a collaborative, AI-enabled environment within the R&D division.

Qualifications

• Experience building applications in C# and .NET.
• Solid SQL and EF Core understanding.
• Experience with distributed systems and message-based architectures.
• Strong debugging and diagnostic abilities.
• Comfort with unfamiliar codebases and limited docs.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features end to end across backend services and web apps.
• Write clean, testable code following architecture principles.
• Investigate defects and trace root causes.
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Follow secure coding practices in SOC2/ISO27001 environments.
• Collaborate with product, data and infrastructure teams.
