Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft 365, Exchange, and hybrid IT, plus a solid foundation in on‑prem and cloud integrations. A bachelor’s degree is expected.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) in a hybrid environment.
• Manage hybrid Exchange deployments, ensuring reliable mail flow and synchronization between on‑premises and cloud.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD, including MFA, RBAC, and directory synchronization.
• Implement and manage Microsoft 365 security solutions, including Defender for Office 365 and DLP policies.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, patches, and infrastructure enhancements for scalability and security.
• Manage backup and restore solutions for Microsoft 365 and critical on‑premises infrastructure.
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Microsoft 365 and related systems.
• Monitor health, availability, email traffic, and performance; produce SLA-compliant operational reports.
• Provide user training and documentation to improve adoption and support.

The Microsoft 365Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’sMicrosoft 365 environment in a hybrid deployment model, with a strong focus onemail administration via Microsoft Exchange, as well as ensuring operationalreporting, SLA compliance, and system enhancements. This role also encompassesbackup and restore operations, disaster recovery planning, and overseeing LocalActive Directory, Azure AD, and server administration. The administratorensures a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment that supportsorganizational communication and operational needs.

Job Description

• Administer and maintainMicrosoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, andOneDrive, within a hybrid environment.
• Managehybrid Exchange deployments, ensuring reliable mail flow, synchronization,mailbox administration, and troubleshooting between on-premises and cloudenvironments.
• AdministerActive Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user accounts,permissions, policies, directory synchronization, MFA, and role-based accesscontrols.
• Implementand manage Microsoft 365 security solutions, including Microsoft Defender forOffice 365, anti-spam, anti-malware, encryption, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)policies.
• Planand implement upgrades, migrations, patches, and infrastructure enhancements to improve system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
• Managebackup and restore solutions for Microsoft 365, on-premises servers, andcritical infrastructure, including regular recovery testing and validation.
• Develop,maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans forMicrosoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and other critical systems.
• Monitorinfrastructure health, availability, email traffic, and system performancewhile preparing operational reports and ensuring compliance with defined SLAs.
• Administerand maintain on-premises servers, including hardware and softwareconfiguration, patch management, firmware updates, performance monitoring, andtroubleshooting.
• Providetechnical support and user training for Microsoft 365, Exchange, ActiveDirectory, and related technologies while developing documentation andimproving overall user adoption.

Experience and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relatedfield.
• 3–5 yearsof experience managing Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and hybrid ITenvironments.
