Job summary

AA & Associates in Lahore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support construction and MEP projects, focusing on planning, coordination, supervision, and technical delivery of mechanical works.

You will review designs, coordinate HVAC, plumbing and fire protection with other trades, inspect site activities, read drawings, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Experience with site supervision, installation inspection, testing, commissioning, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical designs, layouts, calculations, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical services with architectural, structural, electrical, and interior works.
• Monitor site installation and verify that work complies with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Review contractor progress, materials, testing procedures, and inspection records.
• Identify technical issues, propose practical solutions, and support timely resolution of site-related problems.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, procurement requirements, project documentation, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
