Role Overview

Warraich Hospital is seeking a Receptionist & Patient Affairs Officer to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role ensures a welcoming, professional environment while balancing patient interests with the hospital’s billing and administrative requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to resolving patient concerns, alongside accuracy in record-keeping and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk & Reception: Greet and guide patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous manner.
  • Handle incoming calls, appointment bookings, and walk-in inquiries.
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
  • Patient Affairs & Support: Assist patients in understanding hospital processes, treatment protocols, and billing policies.
  • Coordinate with medical, nursing, and administrative staff to resolve patient concerns promptly.
  • Ensure patients receive clear communication about their rights, services, and follow-up procedures.
  • Act as a bridge between patients and hospital management to maintain satisfaction and trust.
  • Billing & Records Management: Generate and issue bills for consultations, procedures, admissions, and diagnostics.
  • Ensure accurate entry of patient data and services in the hospital management system.
  • Collect payments (cash/online) and maintain daily financial reconciliation.
  • Safeguard hospital interests by ensuring billing compliance, preventing revenue leakages, and addressing discrepancies immediately.
  • Operational Coordination: Support admission and discharge processes with proper documentation.
  • Maintain daily reports of patient flow, revenue, and service utilization.
  • Liaise with pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments for smooth patient services.
