Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Billing Executive role based in Karachi. The Medical Billing Executive will handle end-to-end billing processes, including claim creation, submission, and follow-up for multiple healthcare providers. Daily responsibilities include verifying patient and insurance information, reviewing charges and coding, generating invoices, managing denials, and coordinating AR follow-up to ensure timely reimbursements. The role involves working with practice management and EHR systems, reconciling payments, preparing billing reports, and maintaining documentation in line with regulatory and client-specific requirements. The Medical Billing Executive will also communicate with payers, providers, and internal teams to resolve billing issues and support continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of billing processes and medical billing workflows, including claims, denials, and AR follow-up.
• Analytical skills to interpret billing data, identify trends, and support reporting and process optimization.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with payers, clients, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
• Basic finance and invoicing skills, including payment posting, reconciliation, and invoice generation.
• Knowledge of healthcare RCM concepts, medical terminology, and insurance guidelines (US healthcare experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with practice management/EHR systems and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets and billing tools).
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple accounts, and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in medical billing, AR, or healthcare BPO environments is highly desirable.
