Job description

Job Summary:
Independent handling of all media department issues. Planning and first level of analysis/conversion of data to information. Showcase the core planning function.

Primary Responsibility
  1. Developing Media Plans i.e. the actual churning of plans
  2. Competitive monitoring of media strategies
  3. Initiation of building client relationships
  4. The actual training of team below on application of software
  5. Key motivator to intra-agency interaction i.e. with creative and servicing
  6. Responsible in the food chain to deliver, thus need to delegate and control
Job Specification

Knowledge Requirements:
In the media business for at least 4-6 years. A management graduate/statistical math's/economics background. Conceptual awareness of planning/planning tools/research. Working knowledge of both aspects of buying and operations. Industry awareness - general & in the business of communication.

Presentation/Documentation Skills, People/Team Building Skills, Nurturing Skills, Communication Skills, Multi-tasking - planning, buying, and brainstorming.

Position Dimensions:
He is responsible for the churning of media plans, for strategy to be developed/evaluated. Manages a team of 2-3. At least 2-4 clients. Partners the servicing team.
