- Monitor manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment to identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and improve overall output.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
- Develop and implement process monitoring and control systems to ensure consistent product quality and performance.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to identify quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Use SolidWorks and other CAD tools to design, modify, and improve components, parts, fixtures, and production tooling.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and design improvements.
- Collaborate with R&D teams on new product development, manufacturing feasibility, tooling, and process improvements.
- Support the development and optimization of production tooling and manufacturing methods.
- Maintain accurate technical drawings, BOMs, work instructions, SOPs, process documentation, and production reports.
- Support product design documentation, prototyping, testing, and process validation.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable industry standards, ISO requirements, quality standards, and internal procedures.
- Analyze production data and recommend improvements to cost, quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Work hands-on with additive manufacturing / 3D printing technologies, including prototype development and process optimization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production/manufacturing and/or R&D environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, production tooling, and process optimization.
- Experience with additive manufacturing / 3D printing is highly preferred.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with QA/QC and quality management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOMs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
- A hands-on mindset with the ability to work directly with production and engineering teams.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
