Job summary

Ultimate Buildmart Pakistan is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Karachi to apply practical knowledge of steel structures, metal fabrication, and architectural metalwork. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with fabricators and site teams, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

The role focuses on 2D AutoCAD drawings, steel fabrication/installation, and close collaboration with project teams to deliver accurate, safely executed works at site.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of steel structures and metal works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience coordinating with fabricators and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and review 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate steel fabrication and installation works.
• Read and interpret engineering, fabrication, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Prepare measurements, material requirements, and basic BOQs for steel works.
• Coordinate with fabricators, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
• Monitor fabrication and installation activities for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Conduct site visits for measurements and alignment checks.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication or installation.
