Job description

Imtiaz, Pakistan’s biggest and fastest-growing retail company, is seeking a Manager – Master Data Management (MDM) to lead data governance initiatives and ensure data integrity across the organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing MDM policies, optimizing data governance processes, and driving cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate and secure master data.

Key Responsibilities:


MDM Strategy & Policy Implementation: Develop and implement Master Data Management (MDM) policies to ensure standardization and compliance with industry best practices.
Data Integrity & Accuracy: Maintain data consistency across all retail systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business teams to optimize data governance processes and enhance decision-making.
Security & Compliance: Monitor data security, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify data inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to improve overall data quality.
Leadership & Training: Lead and mentor the MDM team, providing training and guidance to enhance skills and drive continuous improvement.


Key Requirements:


Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Analytics, or a related field (MBA or an advanced degree preferred).
Experience: 8-10 years in Master Data Management, data governance, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Proficiency in data management tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical skills to assess data inconsistencies and implement process improvements.


Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams, collaborate across departments, and drive strategic data governance initiatives.
