Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer (FreeCAD) to work on a full-time, project-based contract in Pakistan. You will develop and optimize manufacturing designs using FreeCAD, translate specifications into precise 3D models and drawings for production, and generate comprehensive documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure manufacturability, and implement design improvements based on feedback from production and engineering.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in FreeCAD for 3D modeling and parametric design.
• Experience with mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
• Familiarity with CAD file formats and data exchange between systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical components using FreeCAD for manufacturing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from production and engineering teams.
• Generate and maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings and BOMs.
• Perform design reviews to identify potential manufacturing challenges and propose solutions.
