Job summary

alBaraka Bank in Karachi seeks an experienced Manager TMO - Market & Liquidity Risk to lead independent oversight of the bank’s market and liquidity risk profile, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the Risk Appetite Framework.

You will monitor exposures across Treasury, investment and capital markets, conduct VaR, stress tests, sensitivity analyses, LCR, NSFR, and provide strategic risk reporting to ALCO, BRC, senior management, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant banking experience in market or liquidity risk.
• Experience in risk governance and regulatory readiness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent oversight of the bank’s market and liquidity risk profile.
• Monitor exposures across treasury, investment, and capital market portfolios.
• Drive advanced risk analytics including VaR, stress testing, and RWA.
• Provide strategic risk insights and reports to ALCO, BRC, and regulators.
