Job summary

PTCL is seeking a senior technology leader to provide expert consultancy for ICT infrastructure products and solutions, spanning servers, compute, storage, virtualization, and data center technologies. The role supports Sales with technical know-how and market strategies, and requires hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of experience, a strong engineering background, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical/Telecom/Computer or equivalent).
• MBA/MS(PM/EM) degree (preferred).
• Expert level certification (relevant domain).
• Minimum 12 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect IT compute infra solutions aligned with customer requirements for Sales and Technical Sales teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, OEMs, partners, and internal teams to drive ICT business growth.
• Lead solution design and consultancy for complex multidomain ICT projects with clear scope and success criteria.
• Enable Sales teams with technical training on architectures, features and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive go-to-market solutions and ensure project execution.

In this Role You Will

Be responsible to provide expert technology leadership and design consultancy for ICT Infrastructure products & solutions related to servers, compute, storage, virtualization platforms, HCI, VDI, server OS, administration, enterprise backup & disaster recovery solutions, and data center technologies. Support Tech Sales for business growth through strategic vendor/partner alignment and product development consultancy. Empower and enable business solutions sales teams with technical knowledge and go-to-market strategies for ICT selling. Must be hands on OEM server build configurators, various server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux distributions), advanced virtualization concepts including VDI and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), SAN/NAS storage architectures, HCIs. Cloud infrastructure services (IaaS/PaaS) from major providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud would be plus.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Design and architect IT compute infrastructure solutions aligned with customer requirements, supporting Sales and Technical Sales teams in solution positioning, customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical qualification to maximize RFP/RFQ win rates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, OEMs, partners, and internal Sales and Presales teams to drive ICT business growth, ensure technical and commercial alignment, and develop competitive solutions.
• Lead solution design and consultancy for complex, multidomain ICT projects, ensuring clearly defined technical scope, resource management, success criteria, and stakeholder alignment for effective service delivery.
• Enable Enterprise, Carrier, and SME Sales teams, including Sales Managers and Key Account Managers, through technical training on solution architectures, product features, unique selling propositions, industry best practices, and customer engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Sales, Presales, and delivery stakeholders to develop competitive solutions, strengthen go-to-market strategies, ensure seamless project execution, and enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
