Job summary

METRO Pakistan is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive performance across weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships. You will monitor key customer groups, conduct market surveys, and coordinate with the Area Manager to achieve KPIs.

The role involves coaching and training the sales team, managing budgets, and activating new buying customers while aligning with Head Office goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales team performance in terms of turnover, profitability, losses, margins, purchase frequency, and average turnover, and take corrective actions where required.
• Analyze sales and stock figures and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers.
• Measure and monitor Target Group Customers at both global and individual Customer Manager levels.
• Conduct market surveys and monitor competitors’ activities to recommend action plans and support METRO’s market strategy.
• Participate in customer portfolio selection in close coordination with the Area Manager.
• Achieve team growth and cost objectives in line with defined KPIs.
• Manage, motivate, train, monitor, and control Sales Staff activities to optimize performance.
• Increase the number of new buying customers through effective customer activation.
• Manage assigned budgets, including personnel costs, bonuses, incentives, salaries, advertising, and promotions, where applicable.
• Maintain effective coordination with Head Office (HO) and Store Operations to achieve overall business results and organizational goals.
• Coach team members and strengthen their competencies to support their professional development.
