Job summary

Stylo Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead import and local sourcing of raw materials, adhesives, machinery, and related items. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and manage delivery schedules to support production.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain Management, has 8–10 years of relevant experience, and demonstrates strong market knowledge, interpersonal skills, team leadership, and cost-control focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Masters in Supply Chain Management or relevant.
• 8–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of international and local markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/local procurement of raw materials, adhesives, machinery, mechanical parts, electrical instruments, civil materials including steel structures, general consumables and packaging materials.
• Identify cost-effective suppliers and negotiate advantageous terms.
• Analyze quality of goods and services by tracking metrics to reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
• Conduct monthly costing and planning of raw materials with Production & Finance Departments.
• Perform risk management of procurement contracts and maintain long-term savings on procurement costs.
• Finalize details of Purchase Orders and delivery times.
• Provide ongoing training to colleagues on industry best practices.

Job description

• Import /local procurement of raw materials, adhesives, machinery, mechanical parts (rotary and stationary items), electrical instruments, civil materials including steel structures, general consumable items and finish goods / product packing materials etc.
• Discover cost effective suppliers and negotiate to secure advantageous terms
• Excellent knowledge of industry relevant SRO’s
• Analyzing the quality of goods & services by tracking metrics such as defect rates, rejection of goods & services with the aim to reduce cost & improve effectiveness
• Conduct monthly costing and planning of raw materials with Production & Finance Departments
• Perform risk management of procurement contracts and maintain agreements to have long term savings on procurement costs
• Finalize details of Purchase Order & Delivery Times
• Continuous training of colleagues for enhancement of knowledge regarding industry relevant best practices
