Job summary

HBL in Habib Bank Plaza, Karachi, seeks an experienced Network Security Lead to coordinate with internal teams and implement secure solutions across the bank’s network. You will develop security plans with IT partners and manage vendor discussions to meet project timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 8+ years in network security, with hands-on experience in penetration testing and access control.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with internal customers/business teams to analyze requirements and recommend secure solutions.
Develop and maintain technology plans with IT groups to integrate with HBL network for security.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to discuss timelines and delivery of projects.
Deploy and implement network security controls to support information security policies and guidelines.
Perform penetration testing processes and manage access control procedures.
Review audit objections and address PCI-DSS compliance recommendations.
Supervise project teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious delivery.
Provide technical evaluation for annual maintenance and service level agreements for network services.

Job description

To coordinate with internal customers/business teams of the bank to analyze their business requirements and recommend them the suitable secure solutions.
To develop and maintain technologies plans with IT groups and business partners to integrate it with the existing HBL network for Network Security.
Collaborate with HBL’s stakeholders and vendors to discuss timelines and integration to deliver agreed project activity for the Bank.

Network Security Controls

To be responsible for deploying and implementing network security controls to support information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines for the Bank.
Responsible for Penetration testing process.
Responsible for access control process.
To review audit objections and get them fixed as per PCI-DSS compliance recommendation for a better network security.
