Job summary

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in Karachi seeks an Enterprise Application Security and Risk Specialist to lead risk assessments, design reviews, and API/cloud security evaluations. You will align with IT/security policies, build baselines, and support audits and vendor payments related to application security.

Eligibility includes a Bachelor Honours (16 years) in CS/IS/MIS and at least 2 years of information security or IT risk management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Honours (16 years) in Computer Science, Information Security, or MIS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Security or IT Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Information security Risk Assessments within defined timelines, as applicable, such as:


• Application security design reviews.


• Information security risk assessments.


• Control assessments of business processes, solutions and provide recommendations of addressing the identified issues.


• Perform security assessment of API and cloud services.


• Advise on HBL IT and Information Security Policies, Procedures, and Standards in line with international best practices.


• Design security control baselines.


• Assist Team Leader in ensuring that related audit findings are timely closed.


• Assist Team Leader in keeping track of all the payments made to the vendor for the projects related to Application Security.

People Management

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal & external stakeholders including technology, business, and third parties.


• Provide necessary information security guidance and support to the internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Security or MIS


• Minimum 2-years of experience in Information Security or IT Risk Management
