Job description

MBA in MIS (16 years of education) with 04 years of relevant experience (post qualification). Diploma in Information Technology and experience of Oil and Gas Industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the development and maintenance of the department's Management Information System (MIS).
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into MIS requirements.
3. Conduct remote data analysis to extract valuable insights and billing trends of industrial customers.
4. Generate comprehensive reports and returns, providing insightful analysis to support departmental goals and objectives.
5. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
6. Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in MIS and data analytics.
7. Provide training and support to departmental staff on MIS tools, remote data analysis, and reporting procedures.
8. Generate ERP requisitions for needed tasks as and when required.
9. Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of organizational data.
10. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
11. Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and support strategic decision-making.
12. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data management and system functionality.
13. Collect and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
14. Implement data quality checks and validations.
15. Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
16. Create and maintain reports and dashboards for key performance indicators.
17. Present findings through visualizations and communicate insights effectively.
18. Work closely with IT teams to ensure data availability and integrity.
19. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
20. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
21. Undertake any other MIS-related activities and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
