Job summary

SAPPHIRE FINISHING MILLS seeks a Management Trainee Officer for SAP PM & QM. You will assist in day-to-day SAP PM/QM operations, provide user support, and contribute to system enhancements, ABAP developments, and R&D initiatives to improve maintenance and quality processes.

The role targets fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience, with SAP exposure preferred, and offers a hybrid work setup across Corporate Office and Mill facilities in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Textile, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical), Computer Science or Information Technology with a strong academic record.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day SAP PM and QM user support, resolving or escalating tickets within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain PM master data, including equipment, functional locations, maintenance plans, and task lists.
• Support preventive maintenance scheduling, work orders, breakdown tracking, and maintenance reporting.
• Maintain QM master data, including inspection plans, sampling procedures, and inspection characteristics.
• Support inspection lots, results recording, usage decisions, quality notifications, and defect tracking.
• Prepare maintenance and quality reports to support operational monitoring and management decisions.
• Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and implement or escalated appropriate solutions.
• Gather user requirements and assist in preparing functional specifications for system enhancements.
• Support SAP PM and QM configuration changes, custom reports, forms, and ABAP developments.
• Prepare test cases, conduct testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and support go-live activities.
• Maintain user manuals, process documentation, and change records in accordance with established procedures.
• Research SAP innovations, standard practices, automation, and AI opportunities, recommending improvements to the Assistant Manager.
