About The Role

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to be the bridge between Finance and IT—owning financial data integrity across our platforms and leading the finance workstream on systems change. You’ll ensure day-to-day transactions post correctly for accurate accounts and MI, and you’ll partner with our in-house development team to shape, test, and deliver system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own data accuracy: Ensure financial data is correct and consistent across Magento, Business Central, EasyWMS, and Power BI.
• Investigate & resolve: Proactively identify discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and drive fixes with Finance and IT.
• Lead finance on projects: Act as the finance lead for system development initiatives—requirements, process design, UAT, sign-off, and documentation.
• Translate & advise: Convert finance needs into clear specifications for the dev team and advise on posting setups, tax, dimensions, and integrations.
• Continuous improvement: Streamline finance processes, automate where possible, and strengthen controls and reconciliations.
• Reporting & insights: Support management reporting (Power BI/Excel) and ensure reliable, timely MI for decision-making.
• Stakeholder enablement: Liaise with finance and operations stakeholders; train end users and support adoption.

About You

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong Excel and systems skills; comfortable working with large data sets (Power Query/Power Pivot a plus).
• Experience with ERP systems in a functional/finance systems capacity—ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• High attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear communicator who can collaborate across Finance, Operations, and IT.

Nice To Have

• Exposure to eCommerce (Magento), WMS (EasyWMS), and Power BI.
• Familiarity with integrations, posting groups, dimensions, and data governance.
