Job summary

Tapal Tea (Pvt.) Ltd. seeks a Maintenance Associate for its Operations/Maintenance team at the Raiwind office. The role focuses on daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and precise record-keeping to minimize downtime of critical utility equipment.

The ideal candidate has a BE in Mechanical and 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical settings, with SAP and MS Office familiarity. On-site role with third-party HRSG contract management.

Qualifications

• BE / Mechanical degree required.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and SAP usage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all utility equipment and submit reports.
• Execute preventive maintenance and keep records in SAP.
• Minimize downtime for critical utilities: generators, air systems, pumps, and HVAC.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and document all activities.
• Coordinate outsourced maintenance and emergency support.
• Maintain records of generators and compressors in hard and soft formats.
• Implement TIMS procedures and ensure SOP compliance.
• Safeguard personnel and equipment safety at all times.
• Maintain Material Handling Equipment in good condition.
• Provide daily task reports and feedback to the line manager.
• Support technician training and development.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Position Title: Maintenance Associate

Department / Section: Operations / Maintenance

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager

Location: Tapal Tea Office, Raiwind, Punjab

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily physical inspections of all utility equipment and submit inspection reports.
• Execute the preventive maintenance schedule and maintain accurate records in SAP.
• Ensure zero downtime of critical utility equipment, including generators, solar systems, compressors, hoist lifts, cargo lifts, blending and ventilation units, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform breakdown maintenance activities and maintain proper documentation for all utility equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise outsourced maintenance activities and emergency breakdown support.
• Maintain complete records of generators and compressors in both hard and soft formats.
• Implement TIMS procedures and monitor compliance with relevant SOPs.
• Take proactive measures to ensure the safety of personnel and utility equipment.
• Maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in fully operational condition.
• Provide daily task reports and feedback to the line manager.
• Support the training and development of technicians.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
