Multan Public Library is seeking a Librarian to manage and organize the collection, assist patrons with research, and coordinate library events in Multan. The role requires strong organizational skills and familiarity with cataloging systems.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, experience in a library setting, and the ability to work independently and with others. Salary is offered plus visa sponsorship and airfare to Multan.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Catalog and classify library materials using the Dewey Decimal System.

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to acquire new materials.
• Plan and coordinate library events such as book clubs or author readings.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and circulation statistics.
• Train new staff on library policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on library science and technology trends.
