Female Librarian

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Female Librarian to join our team in Multan. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and maintaining the overall organization of the library.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize all library materials including books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and digital resources.
• Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries by providing guidance on how to use library resources effectively.
• Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy and encourage reading among patrons.
• Maintain accurate records of library materials borrowed and returned by patrons.
• Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-related activities and assist students in locating appropriate resources for assignments.
• Keep up-to-date with new trends in library science and technology to enhance library services.
• Create displays and exhibits to showcase new acquisitions or promote special events.
• Oversee the maintenance of the physical space of the library including shelving, furniture, equipment, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Previous experience working as a librarian or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with diverse populations.
