Aqovia UK Limited. in Lahore is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the technical direction of our hybrid infrastructure.

You will balance self-hosted bare-metal with cloud deployments, manage the lifecycle of physical and virtual assets, and own container orchestration, network config, and storage. The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, automated tasks, high security, observability, and cost-effective production platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux expertise across Debian/RHEL/Arch.
• Experience with bare-metal and virtualization platforms.
• Hands-on with Docker/Podman and lightweight Kubernetes (k8s/k3s).
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, and scripting (Bash/Python).
• CI/CD tooling with GitLab Runner and basic observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Security-first mindset with best practices (Fail2Ban, TLS, storage protocols).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of Aqovia's hybrid infrastructure.
• Manage lifecycle of physical and virtual assets and container orchestration.
• Automate routine tasks with IaC and scripting.
• Design secure, resilient, cost-effective production platforms.
• Champion observability and CI/CD pipelines using open-source tools.
