Job Description:
Lead the technical direction of Aqovias hybrid infrastructure by balancing self-hosted, bare-metal environments with strategic cloud deployments. You will manage the full operational lifecycle of physical and virtual assets, taking ownership of container orchestration, network configuration, and storage. By championing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern observability, you will automate routine tasks and ensure a highly secure, resilient, and cost-effective production platform.
Deep Linux Expertise:Advanced mastery of Linux ecosystems (Debian/RHEL/Arch), kernel tuning, systemd, and advanced networking (L2/L3, VLANs, WireGuard).
Bare-Metal & Virtualization:Proven experience managing Type-1 hypervisors (Proxmox, ESXi) and physical hardware lifecycles (IPMI/OOB, PXE boot automation).
Containers & Orchestration:Expert-level management of Docker/Podman and lightweight Kubernetes (k8s/k3s) with self-hosted ingress controllers.
IaC & Automation:Extensive use of Ansible for configuration management, Terraform/OpenTofu for non-cloud provisioning, and Bash/Python for scripting.
CI/CD & Observability:Hands-on experience building open-source pipelines (GitLab Runner, Gitea) and tuning monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, LGTM).
Security First:Strong implementation of local security best practices (Fail2Ban, Let's Encrypt, storage protocols like ZFS/LVM).
