Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence seeks a Lead Process Engineer to advance APC/MPC driven digital solutions across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and mining sectors. You will lead FEED, detailed engineering and APC deployments, develop control philosophies, and validate models with plant data.

The role requires 6–8 years of process engineering, strong fundamentals in chemical processing, and hands-on experience with Aspen DMC3, HYSYS or equivalent. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in chemical/process engineering and APC concepts.
• Experience with APC/MPC platforms and process optimization.
• Experience with large historical datasets and control strategies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional project teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for FEED, detailed engineering and APC deployments.
• Conduct surveys, data collection, and performance assessments.
• Review PFDs/P&IDs and operating philosophies for APC readiness.
• Translate objectives into MPC/APC control strategies and optimization goals.
• Support development and validation of dynamic process models.
