Role overview Edversity is looking for a Lead Instructor to build and teach AI Engineering with Claude, a live cohort that turns coders into working AI engineers on the Claude stack. You will own the curriculum and the classroom, and you will be accountable for whether learners can ship. Edversity is a technology education company founded in Pakistan in 2021. It has trained more than 12,500 learners and has a growing base in Saudi Arabia. AI Engineering with Claude is its new flagship cohort, for learners who can already code: mostly final-year students, graduates and junior developers. The stack covers the Claude API, Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, MCP, evals and guardrails. Every learner ships three projects and a capstone for a real employer or customer, then enters a placement or startup track.

Key responsibilities

Curriculum and lab build

• Finalise the curriculum and build every lab, project brief and grading rubric.
• Run each lab end to end with the teaching assistants, and measure its time and API cost.
• Help select and train 3 teaching assistants.

Teaching and assessment

• Teach weekly concept sessions with live coding.
• Lead the weekly review session of demos and code review.
• Run the gate assessments, where each learner defends a design choice and makes a live change to their own system.

Capstones and course upkeep

• Supervise capstone teams and their employer or customer sponsors.
• Keep the material current as Claude models and tools change.

Learner outcomes

• Advise hiring partners on capstone briefs and sit on the demo day panel.
• Prepare learners for the Claude Certified Developer: Foundations exam.
• Review the curriculum after the cohort and before the next one.

Requirements

• 3 or more years building production software, including at least 1 year shipping LLM applications.
• At least one production system on Claude that you can walk us through.
• A current Claude Certified Architect: Professional credential (required). It is the professional-level exam in Anthropic's Claude Certification Program, covering integration architecture, governance and evaluation.
• Claude Certified Architect: Foundations and Claude Certified Developer: Foundations are preferred; the latter is the exam our learners prepare for.
• Experience teaching, mentoring or leading code reviews.
• Fluent English.
• Experience delivering Claude projects at a Claude Partner Network firm is a plus.
• Experience hiring or interviewing engineers (to coach the placement track) or startup/freelance experience (to coach the startup track) is a plus.

Skills and competencies

• Hands-on depth in tool use, MCP, agents, evals and guardrails
• Cost and latency control for LLM applications
• Strong Python and working TypeScript
• Live coding and clear explanation of design choices
• Giving structured, constructive feedback in code reviews and assessments
• Keeping course material current as models and tools change
• Open-source work, talks or writing on agents, MCP or evals is a plus
• Urdu, for learner support outside sessions, is a plus
