Job summary

Perform1 Pvt Ltd. in Karachi, Pakistan, seeks a seasoned Full-Stack Developer with hands-on Claude API experience to build AI-powered applications.

You’ll bridge frontend and backend, design AI-enhanced features, and collaborate with product and design to ship meaningful capabilities. The role requires 3+ years in full-stack development, including AI or LLM projects; expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js or Python, and experience with Claude API and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack development, with at least 1 year working on AI or LLM-integrated applications.
• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript.
• Backend: Node.js, Php, or Python (FastAPI / Express / NestJS).
• AI Workflows: Tool use, RAG, agents, streaming.
• Vector / Search: Pinecone, pgvector, or similar.
• APIs: REST, GraphQL, WebSockets.
• Understanding of LLM context windows, token limits, and cost-aware design.
• Experience designing system prompts for consistent, safe AI outputs.
• Familiarity with responsible AI principles, guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Claude API calls, including prompt design and context management.
• Build AI workflows with tool use and function calling capabilities.
• Design scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs with rate limiting and observability.
• Implement secure, token-efficient prompt pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Collaborate with product and design for intuitive AI-native UX.
• Write clean, testable code with focus on performance and security.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Stay current with Claude ecosystem developments.
