Qualifications

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and preparation of financial statements and reporting to head office.
- Compliances with IFRS.
- Review general ledger, reconciliations, and overall accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and accounting policies.
- Financial Operations
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure robust cost control mechanisms and adherence to financial targets.
- Track KPIs and ensure financial discipline across departments.
- Taxation
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of income tax, sales tax and withholding tax returns.
- Handle tax audits and resolve queries raised by tax authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Supervise AP and AR function, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and payment scheduling.
- Enforce internal controls to prevent payment errors or fraud.
- Liaise with procurement and operations teams to resolve disputes.
- ERP Implementation & Optimization
- Lead the ERP implementation and enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT and consultants to ensure successful configuration of finance modules.
- Drive automation and process improvements using ERP tools and integrations.
- Provide user training and support to ensure effective system adoption.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A. Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualified CA, CA (inter) or ACCA.
- B. Minimum Experience:
- 5 years of post-qualification experience in case of CA and 10 years in case of ACCA / CA (inter).
- C. Functional Expertise (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of IFRS, local tax laws and financial controls.
