Job summary

Avanceon Middle East & South Asia seeks an experienced Lead Design & Proposal Engineer – ELV Systems to lead the design, engineering, estimation, and techno‑commercial proposals for ELV and Integrated Smart Building solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in security, ICT infrastructure, and life-safety systems, while collaborating with sales, consultants, OEMs, and clients to deliver competitive and compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in ELV systems design, engineering, and proposal management.
• Proven experience delivering proposals for commercial, hospitality, healthcare, mixed‑use, airport, data center, or smart city projects.
• Strong understanding of integrated security systems and smart building technologies.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs for ELV projects.
• Design integrated ELV and Smart Building solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare system architecture, network topology, riser diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Perform equipment sizing, solution optimization, and value engineering.
• Develop BOQs and accurate cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate with OEMs for solution selection, pricing, and technical support.
• Mentor and develop team members while establishing proposal standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in security, communication, ICT infrastructure, and life-safety systems, while collaborating closely with sales, consultants, OEMs, and clients to deliver competitive and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Design & Engineering:

• Review RFQs, tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs for ELV projects.
• Design integrated ELV and Smart Building solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare system architecture, network topology, riser diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Perform equipment sizing, solution optimization, and value engineering.
• Develop BOQs and accurate cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Proposal & Pre‑Sales:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop compliance matrices and tender documentation.
• Conduct bid risk assessments and identify commercial risks.
• Coordinate with OEMs for solution selection, pricing, and technical support.
• Participate in bid clarification meetings and technical presentations.
• Support the sales team throughout the pre‑sales cycle.
• Ensure timely and high‑quality submission of proposals.

Vendor & Team Leadership:

• Build and maintain relationships with leading OEMs and technology partners.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Negotiate technical and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Review technical submissions prepared by proposal engineers.
• Mentor and develop team members while establishing proposal standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience in ELV systems design, engineering, and proposal management.
