Job summary

NorthBay - Pakistan is seeking a Lead Data Engineer with strong AWS and database tech, including Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL, and Amazon Redshift. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data platforms and drive enterprise-level data engineering initiatives.

You will architect data pipelines and data warehouses on AWS, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing and database development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data ecosystem (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda).
• Advanced expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL).
• Proven experience in enterprise-scale data warehouse architecture.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and pipeline design.
• Leadership or mentoring experience in engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of data pipelines and data warehouse solutions on AWS.
