Job summary

Ahya Technologies L.L.C. is seeking a technically fluent Lead/AVP, Product to own AhyaAI, AhyaAPI and Tawazun. You will translate partner requirements into architecture and defend each decision to leadership.

The role spans ecosystem, integration, and cross-functional ownership across engineering, design, and climate science teams. You will drive phase-focused roadmaps, ensure timely delivery, and demonstrate measurable impact on platform alignment with partner needs and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BEng), Data Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years owning platform, API or integration-layer products.
• Comfortable reading and reasoning about data models, API contracts and system architecture.
• Proven experience working through user experience and design, partnering with Design in Figma.
• Working knowledge of carbon accounting, ESG reporting or carbon markets, or ability to acquire fluency quickly.
• Product certification (Product School, CSPO/PSPO, Pragmatic Institute or equivalent) a plus.
• Exceptional written communication; able to defend material decisions to executives.

Join Ahya as a Lead/AVP, Product and support the region's net-zero transition.

We are seeking a technically fluent Lead/AVP, Product to own AhyaAI, AhyaAPI and Tawazun: the intelligence and integration layer through which Ahya's climate intelligence, emissions calculation and offsetting capability reaches partner platforms and channel partners.

The role owns the specification and delivery of the products end to end, translating partner and stakeholder requirements into architecture and design that engineering can build against, and defending every material decision directly to company leadership.

What You'll Do

Ecosystem & Integration Ownership

• Own the AhyaAI roadmap: EF Search, Data Capture, Data Check, Predictive Analytics and Reduction Optimisation, and how each capability extends into AhyaAPI and Tawazun.
• Own the AhyaAPI roadmap (Estimate and Offset endpoints), including how partner platforms embed Ahya's emissions calculation and offsetting capability into their own customer-facing products.
• Own the specification for Tawazun's channel partner ecosystem: how partner organizations onboard, list, and transact within the marketplace.
• Own the cross function between AhyaAPI, AhyaAI and Tawazun:
• Draw an explicit Phase 1 / Phase 2 boundary for every initiative and defend it under scrutiny.
• Prioritize the roadmap against compliance-driven deadlines, partner integration commitments, and phase-in dates rather than internal preference alone.
• Make and own trade-off calls between competing stakeholder demands, and state the cost of each call explicitly.
• Maintain a roadmap view that leadership can review without needing a walkthrough.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Ownership

• Run the working relationship between Climate Science, Engineering, Carbon Markets, Design, and partner or platform engineering teams, on every initiative from scoping through launch.
• Partner directly with Design in Figma on UX for every AhyaAPI, AhyaAI and Tawazun surface, reviewing flows and signing off before handoff to engineering.
• Own and deliver product demonstrations to prospective partners, enterprise clients and internal stakeholders.
• Present specifications and prioritization call directly to the CEO and executive team, prepared to defend every material decision.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and surface risk to timelines before it becomes a problem.

Delivery & Quality Oversight

• Track feature delivery against the original specification and flag deviation early.
• Validate shipped features against specification before sign-off.
• Own post-launch review for features under your ownership, capturing what needs to change for the next phase.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BEng), Data Science or a related technical field; advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years owning platform, API or integration-layer products. B2B SaaS, fintech or regulated/compliance-adjacent software preferred.
• Comfortable reading and reasoning about data models, API contracts and system architecture, even where you are not the one writing the code.
• Proven experience working through user experience and design, comfortable partnering with Design in Figma and shaping product decisions around usability, not just functionality.
• Working knowledge of carbon accounting, ESG reporting or voluntary/compliance carbon markets, or demonstrated ability to acquire deep domain fluency quickly.
• Recognized product certification (Product School, CSPO/PSPO, Pragmatic Institute or equivalent) a plus.
• Exceptional written communication; your documents need to hold up to technical and executive scrutiny in the same afternoon.
• Comfort with direct, detailed and fast-moving executive feedback.
