Job summary

UserWise seeks a Principal AI Engineer to own AI infrastructure and automation across Internal Games. You will lead development of AI agents, tools, and workflows spanning research, prototyping, production, QA, and LiveOps.

You will integrate external AI models with Unity pipelines and internal tools, turning data into actionable insights while ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. This is a senior IC role reporting to the Head of Internal Games.

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience with production systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, agents, or automation platforms.
• Shipping AI-powered systems used by real teams in production.
• Strong programming and systems engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with tool calling, agentic workflows, model integration, evaluation, and orchestration.
• Experience integrating APIs and cloud-based systems.
• Understanding data pipelines and using data for automated decisions or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI and automation architecture across Internal Games.
• Build AI agents, tools, and automated workflows across the production lifecycle.
• Design reusable systems to accelerate move from idea to test to launch.
• Integrate external AI/LLM models and APIs with Unity pipelines and internal tools.
• Develop AI-powered analytics and reporting for game data and production metrics.
• Monitor workflow health and identify bottlenecks and data gaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Producers, UA, Creative, QA, and Game Ops to automate manual work.
