Laravel Developer

This is a full-time remote role for a Laravel Developer at Chimes Consulting. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

What You'll Do:

1. Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel framework
2. Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend systems
3. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
4. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Laravel projects
5. Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers
6. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other services
7. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

Job Specification:

What We’re Looking For:

1. Proficiency in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and MVC architecture
2. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React is a plus)
3. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database design
4. Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
5. Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean) is a plus
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
