Job summary

FlowHCM in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician to join our diagnostic team. The role involves collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens, performing routine and specialized tests, and reporting results accurately.

The successful candidate will have a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, valid registration if required, and 1–3 years hospital or lab experience, with strict adherence to safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• Valid professional registration/license, where applicable.
• 1–3 years of hospital or diagnostic laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens according to standard procedures.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as assigned.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control procedures.
• Record and report laboratory results accurately and promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and laboratory logs.
• Follow infection prevention, biosafety, and laboratory safety protocols.

Education

BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
