Job summary

Trendtide in Karachi is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper for an on-site, full-time evening-shift role. You will record daily sales and purchases, manage ledgers, reconcile bank transactions, and maintain inventory records with strict accuracy.

The ideal candidate has solid Excel skills, basic bookkeeping knowledge, and can work independently using multiple worksheets. Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable and disciplined data entry will help ensure error-free financial records.

Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments and expenses.
• Maintain customer, supplier and party ledgers.
• Enter bank, cash and credit-card transactions.
• Update inventory purchases, stock movements and product records.
• Maintain receivables and payables.
• Record e-commerce/Amazon-related transactions where required.
• Reconcile entries with invoices, receipts, bank records, and supporting documents.
• Ensure dates, amounts, descriptions, and references are entered accurately.
• Check running balances and formulas for accuracy.
• Report discrepancies instead of making assumptions.
• Maintain organized records and daily backups.
• Follow established Excel formats and procedures without changing formulas or workbook structure unnecessarily.
