Job summary

Cedar Financial is seeking a Junior SEO Link Builder to grow the authority of Cedar’s websites by earning high-quality backlinks. You will work with our Senior SEO Specialist to research opportunities, run outreach campaigns, and build relationships with publishers and bloggers.

This role is suited for someone early in their SEO career who wants to learn white-hat link building and digital PR in a performance-driven team, focusing on accuracy and collaboration with the content team.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in link building, SEO, digital PR, or outreach.
• Understanding of backlinks, anchor text, do-follow vs no-follow.
• Familiarity with at least one SEO tool and with spreadsheets.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with capacity for high outreach volume.
• Persistent, self-motivated, and comfortable working to targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify link opportunities across guest posts, directories, and mentions.
• Assess link quality using relevance, traffic, DR/DA, and spam signals.
• Execute personalized outreach using Pitchbox, BuzzStream, Respona, or Hunter.io.
• Build relationships with bloggers, editors, journalists, and webmasters.
• Coordinate content topics and anchor text with the content team.
• Support digital PR to secure editorial links and brand mentions.
• Maintain an outreach tracker and weekly progress reports.
• Monitor live links and reclaim lost or broken backlinks.
• Analyze competitor backlink profiles for new opportunities.
• Follow Google policies and avoid manipulative link schemes.
• Build and maintain citations and directory listings.
